Sony have been sending out press invites to a special briefing for what they're teasing as "an introduction to the slimmest" launch in PlayStation history.
The event will take place on January 30th at 9am in London.
It could well be an announcement for the new, lighter PlayStation Vita 2000 that was released in Japan towards the end of last year. That version of the PlayStation Vita is 20% thinner and 15% lighter than the original Vita. It also includes built-in memory and an LCD screen (instead of an OLED one).
Alternatively it could be PlayStation Vita TV-related or, at a longer shot, a new PS3 Slim, though I doubt we should get our hopes up for that at this stage.
