Last August in Japan Disney released Disney Magic Castle: My Happy Life to great success. The game, co-developed by Disney Japan and Namco Bandai, has sold more than 400,000 units in Japan, but no Western release was announced until now. Renamed Disney Magical World, the 3DS exclusive title sees players dress their Miis up in Disney clothing and play around in a massive Disney world with hundreds of Disney characters.
Gameplay is sort of a mixture of the Harvest Moon and Animal Crossing series. Players can farm, manage a cafe, explore, and battle enemies with magic. There are also heavy elements of collect-a-thons built in, with cards to collect and characters who need your help spread throughout the world. Disney and adorable sim fans can look forward to the game's North American launch on April 11th. There was no announcement of a European release.
