It looks like Minecraft is set to release on all current gen consoles, if a rumour originating on Nintendo Enthusiast is to be believed.
The game, which has sold an astronomical 33 million across various platforms, is already set to release on the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita and Xbox One sometime next year, to follow on from its debut console release last year on the Xbox 360. Those other versions are all being developed by 4J Studios, and it's possible a Wii U version is also being worked on by the developer:
"Nintendo has made an effort to pursue such a release and their efforts have paid off. According to our source, the developer is currently in possession of Wii U dev kits."
