Titanfall, the much-anticipated upcoming shooter from Respawn Entertainment, was announced for Xbox 360, Xbox One and Windows PC when it was first revealed earlier this year. Many suspected that the title would merely be a timed exclusive, with a PlayStation 4 version likely following a year or so down the line.
Indeed, studio head Vince Zampella somewhat added credence to those suspicions with his tweet earlier today which states that they only recently found out that EA had made a deal for full exclusivity:
Well, that is emphatically not going to happen now. EA CFO, Blake Jorgensen, is quoted as saying that Titanfall exclusivity is "for the life of the title". That doesn't exclude the possibility of sequels coming to Sony's console however.
