Party Chat, one of the Xbox 360's biggest features that wasn't available on PlayStation 3, will be on both Sony's and Microsoft's upcoming consoles. Both consoles will limit the amount of players in a party chat to eight, confirmed a representative from each company.
"Party Voice Chat will support up to 8 players on PS4, like PS Vita," social media manager Sid Shuman wrote in a comment on the PlayStation Blog. Party chats can be cross platform between PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita, as well.
"At launch, up to eight people will be able to join a Party Chat at a time on Xbox One," a Microsoft representative told Game Informer.
