What do you get when you throw JoJo's Bizarre Adventure and Fist of the North Star into a pot, add the entire Arnie filmography in for seasoning and then ask Namco Bandai to make a game with the resulting stew of manliness? Why, Be A Man! Samurai School: Japan, This is What's Called Being A Man! of course. And, yes, that is a real game title.
This wonderfully ludicrous 3D-fighter title, which is very visually similar to JoJo's, is actually a game adaptation an old manga series that, no surprise, oozes machismo from every pore. The premise is simple: several ridiculously manly men - including the school's students, teachers and delinquents - are out to fight one another to the death. Because why not?
Environmental hazards, like rotating blades, feature quite prominently in the trailer but some stages will be without them, allowing for straightforward fights. The arenas so far include a boxing ring, a volcanic arena and an old temple-looking area.
Be A Man! is set for a release on the PlayStation 3 on 27th February 2014.
