Tokyo New World Record: Operation Abyss Announced for the PSVita - News

A new dungeon-crawling RPG, Tokyo New World Record: Operation Abyss, is coming to the PlayStation Vita.

Abyss revolves around a girl named Alice Mifune, a high school student who captains a group known as the EXP Corps. She's joined by the gentle Noriko Hibino, the cyborg Masa Muramasa and the aptly named "Mysterious Man", the only male revealed thus far, whose goals are unknown.

Since this is a dungeon RPG, it's presumably Alice's job to lead the EXP Corps into the various labyrinths of the world and rid them of monsters. Indeed, players will be able to take up to six characters with them into the game's dungeons and are said to be able to create their own party.

The game is due out on 23 January 2014 for the PlayStation Vita in Japan. No western release date has been set yet.
