XSEED has revealed that they will be releasing the long-awaited Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC in the West. The game will be released on the PSP via the PSN and on the PC in 2014. In addition, there will be a PC release of the first game in the series this Winter.
According to Operation Rainfall, the game's delay seems to be due to the incredible amount of text in the game (SC has 3.6-3.8 million Japanese characters compared to the 1.8 million in FC)
Trails in the Sky follows the story of the plucky young Estelle Bright and her adopted brother Joshua's journey to become Bracers (a sort-of guild-managed mercenary) like her father, before beginning an investigation into Joshua's dark and mysterious past. It earned quite the following in Japan but didn't make it to the West until 2011.
