Square Enix has revealed that Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX, originally a Japanese-only release, will be coming to the U.S. this fall.
The bulk of the game is based on Kingdom Hearts: Final Mix, which added new missions, weapons, enemies, and story elements to the original game. This upcoming HD version, however, will include remastered textures and trophy support.
ReMIX will also include an HD remaster of Kingdom Hearts Re: Chain of Memories, which was originally the PS2 remake of the Game Boy Advance title which was set as an interquel between Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II (man this series is complicated), and will also include remastered cutscenes from Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days.
So that's a lot of content for one package, and is sure to please fans of the series. No specific release date has been announced, but we can expect to enjoy Kingdom Hearts 1.5 HD ReMIX exclusively for PS3 this fall.
