If you didn't think things at Silicon Knights could get any worse, think again. A court ruling from November 7th has been revealed, which requires Silicon Knights to destroy all the game code, engine code, and unsold copies of its game that use Unreal Engine 3. The ruling lists Too Human, cancelled horror game The Box/Ritualyst, unknown project The Sandman, X-Men Destiny and rumored project Siren in the Malestrom. Silcion Knights must also pay $9.2 million to Epic, up from the initial ruling of $4.5 million.
Ever since leaving Nintendo to pursue its own goals in 2004, Silicon Knights has been on a downward spiral. Now, eight years later, the company's troubles have hit a catastrophic new low.
