Animal Crossing: New Leaf is the official name for the 3DS entry in the Animal Crossing series, as announced during today's Nintendo Direct presentation. New Leaf presents a shift in the player's role, as they are now the mayor of their own town. Additionally, players can now swim and the customization of items and clothing has expanded to a new series high.
