After the announcement of two collector's editions earlier this week, a new pre-order bonus has been revealed for the upcoming BioShock Infinite, and it's quite unique. Pre-ordering the game nets you a free puzzle game, dubbed "BioShock Infinite: Industrial Revolution".

The reveal comes from an a GameStop ad that appeared earlier today on the NeoGAF forums. According to the ad, “BioShock Infinite: Industrial Revolution is a Flash-based, BioShock Infinite-themed puzzle game exclusively available to those that pre-order the game before it releases on February 26, 2013. In this game, the player assumes the role of a factory worker within the sky-city of Columbia, and must complete increasingly difficult puzzles in order to support one of two factions: the Vox Populi or the Founders.”

The puzzle game will allow you to unlock in-game items for BioShock Infinite, though it will no longer be accessible after August 26, 2013.

I like this type of pre-order bonus; incetivices you to pre-order the game, provides a fun bonus, and doesn't necessarily punish those who didn't pre-order the game. Well played, 2K.

BioShock Infinite launches February 26, 2013 for PC, PS3, Xbox 360.
