It's always nice to feel appreciated by an online service, and many subscription services offer some sort of birthday gift. Microsoft has now joined them with the Happy Birthday Month program.
Around the 15th of the month of their birthday, Xbox Live subscribers will receive a whopping 20 Microsoft Points ($0.25 or £0.17) to put towards a purchase of their choice.
This announcement comes shortly after a similar announcement, of rewards for having a high gamerscore that include a 2% rebate on all purchases.
If you don't feel like adding any extra Microsoft Points to your account, EuroGamer has compiled a list of items you can purchase with just your 20MSP:
