Have you ever dreamed of being paid for being good at video games? I'll bet you have! Now, Microsoft is giving you the chance to live your dream...sort of.
As part of the Xbox Live Rewards program, Microsoft is offering a kickback in Microsoft Points to its Xbox Live Gold members. Scoring between 3,000 to 9,999 Gamerscore points will get you a special birthday gift (valued at $0.25 USD). Scoring 10,000-24,999 points will add on a 1% rebate of Xbox Live Marketplace purchases per month. Scoring 25,000 points or more doubles that to a 2% rebate.
The 2% rebate sounds a bit small but it should add up over time. Personally, I'm curious as to what that Special Gift is. Maybe it's a quarter with Master Chief's face on it!
