New details about Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes, the upcoming stealth action game featuring Big Boss, have been revealed at the EuroGamer Expo in London.

Hideo Kojima, the Lead Designer of the Metal Gear Solid series, said that there were plans to open the game to a range of different platforms, such as smartphones, and that this worked well with what he calls the "motherbase" feature.
The game will feature an advanced day-night system powered by the Fox Engine and its superior handling of lighting. This will be integral to stealth gameplay.
Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes is currently announced for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, but no release date has been given.
