According to Nikkei (via Siliconera), Nintendo's 3DS is to receive an E-Book service developed by Librica, a Japanese software company.

The service, called "Bookstore Anywhere", will be launched in Japan on 20th October 2012. The application itself will be a free download. The service will be launched with a selection of 100 manga series and a few free magazines, but Librica intend to expand it over time to include full novels and more magazines.
