The PlayStation Vita has gotten off to a slow start in its young life. But it does have Gravity Rush, which not only impressed us, but clearly impressed in Japan as well, as it took home the TGS Game of the Year award.

Gravity Rush director Keiichi Toyama took to Twitter to announce the award, but it was a reply to one of his followers that really has Gravity Rush fans interested. Toyama promised that he would "do his best on the sequel". You hear that everyone? Gravity Rush sequel (practically) confirmed! Should it come to fruition, there will be many a Vita gamer ecstatic to blast through the world, manipulating gravity at their will.
