Today, publisher Deep Silver released the official debut trailer of upcoming survival horror shooter Dead Island: Riptide. The trailer is CGI and shows a young couple on a boat, and how they are affected by the zombie invasion. I won't ruin it for you, but it is rather touching, in the vein of the debut trailer of the original Dead Island (although less confusing, since it moves forwards in time).
Dead Island: Riptide is a standalone sequel to the original game that tells the story of the survivors of the events of the original, shipwrecked after a storm. Published by Deep Silver and developed by Techland, it is set to be released on PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2013.
