SEGA announced today that HD remasters of both Sonic Adventure 2 and NiGHTS into Dreams... will be coming to the PlayStation Network and Xbox Live Arcade.
Both games will be released October 2nd for PSN for $9.99 / £6.49 / €7.99 each. Xbox owners will have to wait a few days longer, as the games will be available October 5th on XBLA for 800 Microsoft Points.
Sonic Adventure 2
It's worth noting that this version of Sonic Adventure 2 is an HD remaster of the original Dreamcast version. The Battle Mode addition from the GameCube version will be sold separately for $3.00/240 Microsoft Points. However, the version of Nights being offered will include all of the extras from the expansion Christmas Nights, which was previously only available through limited-release promotions.
Nights into Dreams...
Both games hold a special place in the hearts of Sega fans worldwide. I never had a chance to play the original NiGHTS into Dreams..., so I'll be looking forward to this remaster come October.
