Having been enraptured with the gaming industry since he and his brother got their grubby little hands on their first Nintendo back in 1989, Chris hasn't looked back since. He likes to consider himself a connoisseur of the industry, dabbling in all genres and platforms as he sees fit, but can never really tear himself away from his precious RPGs, whether it be the now western dominated genre of the present, or his beloved, quirky Japanese games of yesteryear.
Chris earned a BA in English Literature from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, a Masters in Special Education from Hunter College, currently teaches in a NYC school for students with disabilities during the day, and writes for gamrReview at night, being apart of the team since the Summer of 2010. Chris has also slowly making his way into the comics scene, thoroughly enjoying The Walking Dead, Sin City, and basically anything that has Wolverine or Batman.
While he's a big enthusiast of retro gaming, Chris doesn't discriminate between retro and modern, playing anything and everything that strikes his interest. Topping his favorites list (at the moment) are Bravely Default, Persona 4, The Last of Us, South Park: Stick of Truth, Final Fantasy IV, Chrono Cross, X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Batman: Arkham City, Knights of the Old Republic, Darksiders, Metroid, Super Metroid, Shadow Complex, BioShock, Baldurs Gate II, Monkey Island II: LeChuck's Revenge, Kingdom Hearts II, Battletoads & Double Dragon, Left 4 Dead, The World Ends With You, and Mega Man II.
